Ultra Noiseless pickups

Fender first went noiseless back in 1998; the American Ultra Telecaster features the 5th generation of these pickups, with decades of refinement behind them. It’s classic Tele single-coil sounds without the hum.

Advanced electronics

An S-1 switch is nested in to the volume knob giving you the option of series or parallel wiring. A treble bleed circuit maintains the highs even when you’re dimed out.

New neck contour

A first for Fender, the American Ultra's sculpted neck heel allows for effortless access to the upper frets. It’s a significant reduction in bulk at the base of the neck, super thin but structurally sound with maximum resonance.

New neck shape

The American Ultra Tele neck has a modern-D profile. It’s flatter than a standard-D, with a faster back and a little more “meat” on the shoulders. Fender created an all-new process to apply a thin coat of satin urethane, giving the neck a completely smooth, raw wood feel. Your hands won’t stick here. The rosewood fretboard has rolled edges for added comfort.
